Refund & Returns Policy — Rose Pedal Cycles

At Rose Pedal Cycles, we want you to love your new bike. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns and refunds work.

30-Day Return Window

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery (or in-store pickup) on bike purchases. If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 30 days to start a return.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your bike must:

  • Be unused, with no signs of riding wear, scratches, or damage
  • Be in its original packaging where possible, with all included parts and accessories
  • Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

What’s Not Covered

The following are generally not eligible for return or refund:

  • [Custom or special-order bikes built to your specifications]
  • [Clearance, sale, or final-sale items]
  • [Gift cards]
  • Normal wear-and-tear items (tires, brake pads, chains, etc.) once used
  • Bikes damaged due to improper use, accident, or unauthorized modification after delivery

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at [email/phone] within 30 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions and a prepaid shipping label — we cover the cost of return shipping, so you won’t pay anything out of pocket to send your bike back.
  3. Pack the bike securely — ideally in its original packaging — to prevent damage in transit.
  4. Ship it back to: 1281 Alberta St, Smithers, BC V0J 2N0.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned bike, we’ll notify you of the approval status.

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within [X] business days.
  • [Note any restocking fee, if you charge one, e.g. “A 10% restocking fee applies to returned bikes.”]
  • Shipping costs are refundable.

Exchanges

If you’d like a different size, model, or color, contact us within the 30-day window — we’re happy to help arrange an exchange.

Damaged or Defective Bikes

If your bike arrives damaged or with a defect:

  • Contact us within [X days] of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number.
  • We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no additional cost to you.

US & International Orders

We ship to the USA via UPS (5–7 business days), and the price you pay at checkout includes everything — no additional import duties or customs fees for US buyers. The same 30-day return policy applies to US orders, and we cover return shipping costs for US returns too — you won’t pay anything extra to send a bike back.
